Rooster's Place

The Program

Supportive living, one steady step at a time

Rooster’s Place is more than emergency shelter. It’s a structured, supportive home where veterans stabilize, rebuild, and move on to permanent housing — with a team beside them the whole way.

The journey

From the first night to a lease of your own

    01

    Welcome & intake

The moment a veteran walks through the door, the goal is rest and dignity — a private room, a hot meal, and a calm conversation. No judgment, no red tape on night one.

    02

    Stabilize

A case manager helps secure ID and documents, enroll in VA healthcare, and claim earned benefits. We tackle the urgent things first so the ground stops shifting.

    03

    Build the plan

Together we map out health, recovery, income, and housing goals — a plan the veteran owns, at a pace that’s realistic for their life.

    04

    Grow

Employment support, life skills, peer community, and steady routines. Confidence returns the way it left — one dependable day at a time.

    05

    Move forward

We help transition into permanent, independent housing — and the door here stays open for check-ins long after move-out.

A clean, dignified private bedroom with morning light

The residence

A home that feels like one

Rooms are private and personal. Common spaces are warm and shared. Veterans keep their own keys, their own schedule, and their own dignity — with 24/7 support just down the hall when it’s needed. Recovery takes root when a person finally feels safe enough to breathe.
